Governing council

Our school is governed by the Orroroo Area School Governing Council. We encourage interested parents to be part of this committee. It’s a great way to find out more about your child’s preschool experience and to contribute to the community.

Governing council meets on the 3rd and 8th Tuesday in every term.

All parents can negotiate with the chairperson to attend any Governing Council Meeting. Parents who attend as observers don’t have any voting rights.

Parents are welcome to attend our annual general meetings (AGMs) and offer assistance to the governing council if interested.

Parents, students, community members and staff can be part of our governing council or sub-committees.   

Council elections are held in March each year. Nomination forms are sent to parents through Edsmart.
